The 847 / 848 Souriau circular connectors with bayonet quick-release fastener are processed pressure waterproof and thus meet the requirements of VG96918 and VDE 0633. The 847 connectors and 848 connectors of the manufacturer Souriau differ only from the surface. While the 847 connectors have an olive-green surface, the 848 Souriau connectors, which have been included in the product range since 2015, are manufactured in black zinc-nickel in compliance with RoHS. The 847 and 848 connectors is rated for a maximum voltage rating of up to 38 volts at up to 63 amps of rated current. The connectors are mainly used for power supply in military applications.
