Since the connectors are exposed to salty sea air in the port area and at sea, and must be absolutely tight. For these requirements, we recommend D38999 connectors from Souriau, Amphenol, TE Connectivity and ITT Cannon in connector housings made of marine bronze, aluminum and stainless steel. Up to 128-pin D38999 marine connectors are available, optionally with high-speed, fiber optic and power contacts. As marine connectors, we also recommend Souriau's MSH connectors in marine bronze or aluminum. The Souriau UTS / Trim Trio connectors made of plastic are waterproof according to IP68/IP69K, which is why we recommend this version for marine applications.
