The connectors MIL-C38999 series 1 = MIL-DTL-38999 I have been developed to meet the high demands of the aviation industry. Connectors of series MIL-C-38999/I are characterised by weight-reduced and space-saving constructions. Equipped with up to 128 potential contacts the connectors MS27466, MS27467, MS27468, MS27505, MS27656 provide excellent electrical and mechanical properties.
The following contacts could be used with connectors MIL-C38999 I: Crimp contacts, solder contacts, PCB-contacts, wire wrap contacts, Coax contacts, Twinax contacts, Triax contacts, Thermocouple contacts, fibre optic contacts, filtre contacts.
Circular connectors MIL-C-38999 series I are available as MS-plugs with housing shapes as listed below:
- 27466: Square flange receptacle (front mounting)
- 27656: Square flange receptacle (rear mounting)
- 27468: Jam nut receptacle
- 27467: Plug with RFI shielding
- 27505: Square flange receptacle, not accepting backshell

The crimp contacts are to be processed with crimp pliers M22520/1-01, M22520/2-01 or M22520/7-01. MIL–KABEL–SYSTEMS supply crimp pliers M22520/1-01, M22520/2-01, M22520/7-01 from stock, as well as all suitable positioners, insertion and extraction tools for pin and socket contacts.
Heat shrink moulded parts for connectors MS27466, MS27467, MS27468, MS27656 available from stock
MIL–KABEL–SYSTEMS supply these heat shrink moulded parts including or excluding hotmelt adhesive from stock or within 48 hours. We recommand heatshrink moulded shapes according to VG95343 of manufacturer Tyco / Raychem, series 202K and 222K, respectively.
