They provide EMI protection and are sealed against dusts and fluids (IP67), and are vibration and shock resistant. MIL-DTL-38999 RJ45 are availbale in threaded (RJFTV), or bajonet (RJF), or push-pull (RJF544) shell styles. The mounting of MIL-DTL-38999 RJ45 connectors requires no special tooling. Cat.5, Cat.5e and Cat.6 cable types can be assembled.
