MIL–KABEL–SYSTEMS provides a range of different DIN 41612 connectors of Amphenol, FCI, Harting und ITT Cannon. We supply standardized connectors and customer-specific special solutions. DIN 41612 connectors with lead spacing 2.54 mm were primarily developed for the use in 19-inch racks and are the successors of the DIN 41617 connectors. Series DIN 41617 connectors have a lead spacing of 2.50 mm and are still available as pin header and multipoint connector in 13, 21 and 31 pin versions. Due to the variety of pole numbers and variants mainly the DIN 41612 connectors are used in the telecommunications, computer technology, railway, automation, and aerospace.

Designs and connection types of DIN 41612 connectors
MIL–KABEL–SYSTEMS supplies DIN 41612 connectors in the types B, C, C1/2, D, E, F, H, M, Q, R, R1/2, Q and Q1/2. We deliver DIN 41612 male multpoint connectors and DIN 41612 female multipoint connectors in press-fit technology, as wire wrap, as insulation displacement connector (IDC), with solder lug and crimp connection, also as hermaphroditic connector, as high power strip and as a customer-specific special solution. We offer signal connectors suitable for 1.5A, we supply power connectors for requirements up to 15A. We prefer the connectors of manufacturers Amphenol, FCI, Harting and ITT Cannon.

Application areas of DIN 41612 connectors
The connector system of series DIN 41612 has proven itself over many decades, particularly because  the connectors of the individual manufacturers with various connection types are interchanging pluggable. Today, there are still many good arguments for the usage of DIN 41612 connectors in the fields of railway, computer, control and control engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace, and the military.
