MNZ 45MC – Halogen– Free Shielded Cable Jacket

Field of application
Deployed predominantly in those areas where very high reliability, resistance to environmental factors as well as mechanical robustness and EMC protection are required. It is utilised in the area of control and switching systems outdoors and in the area of transport technology (automobiles, commercial vehicles, ships, aeroplanes). Outstanding features of this wiring are its low smoke emission and toxicity in the event of fire, which gains valuable time for aid measures.

Structure
Conductor made of tin-plated copper wires in compliance with DIN VDE 0295 class 5 (IEC 228, class 5). Insulation made of halogen-free, electron-beam cross-linked polyolefine copolymer with increased temperature stability and enhanced behaviour in case of fire. Outstanding features of these cores are their excellent workability and good resistance to oil. The core insulation does not draw back during soldering. An optimised shield braiding made of tin-plated copper is located underneath the external jacket.
