MLVA – Adhesive Coated Solder Joint For Cores

Field of application
For connecting single cores where waterproof and reliably insulated solder connections are required as e.g. in the automobile area, electrical engineering, in the domestic area, in handicraft trades and in agricultural.

Characteristics
Solder joint with fusion-adhesive coating and pre-installed dual solder ring (this solder joint contains more soldering pewter than the type MLVC and is therefore preferable for connecting cores). The shrinkage process is initiated when the heat-shrink tube warms up and this process draws the cores together. Further warming then melts the soldering pewter too and connects the cores electrically. After the soldering operation, the soldering muffs are transparent and this enables the soldering location to be inspected.

Note: For higher cross sections the tin–solder maybe will not suffice for optimal compound. A Test with sample-parts in this case is necessary.
